gnibbles software package provides snake game, up to four players (transitional package), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnibbles
gnibbles is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnibbles package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnibbles *
You will get with gnibbles package name, version, architecture and description in a table
